English Oak Jewellery BoxThis little English Oak jewellery box reminds me of a Walt Disney film! I rescued the oak log from the Firewood pile. it has 5 draws all lined with red felt and has spalted birch wood handles. It has been finished with two coats of lemon oil and two coats of clear wax. 8 3 4 (195mm) high 3 3 4 (95mm) wide 3 1 2 (90mm) deep

the presence of mango wood grew with the thriving mango industry

it is made from a Piece of London plane tree which I rescued from the firewood pile

once cured even more sanding and rounding over the edge then the final clear coat of resin on top

and then all I get is boring old poplar for my arms and my hat doesn’t even match
