mesmerized by the genius of Piet Mondrian's Broadway Boogie Woogie come to life

I realized that all of the bikes seemed to employ a similar color of locking system

each tree a single bead in the aerial tableau

As I positioned the helicopter to take the down shot

it becomes the perfect abacus

and sizes below mirrored the iconic painting in a way that felt both surreal and grounded

resembled from above some of my favorite games and special memories

while flying below the radar over South Beach’s deep space platform

When I looked at this image on my computer

Was it really a tree

Amidst the chaos

they had never before seen the tree
