MontanteThe Montante is our expression of the more cost effective but still beautiful examples of late Greatswords. With a straight, parallel edged blade, squared lugs and elegantly twisted, straight quillons and 2 large siderings, it is simple and practical, yet visually stunning and intimidating. We spent a long time developing the design to ensure the proportions were ideal, based on historical examples. The ~45cm handle makes the sword surprisingly agile,

It's handle also has a subtle concave curve

Rapiers are perhaps some of the most beautiful and elegant swords ever made

The Gallowglass is our second offering in our line of Greatswords

It resembles a giant sickle and was used primarily to get around the large shields common in the region

Some more advanced examples also incorporated an additional crossguard approximately 1 third down the shaft

Our example features long quillons

and provided a far more formidable melee weapon than the bayonets they usually were fighting against

variable curved sword common to Persia and other Middle-Eastern cultures in the Late middle Ages

which really gives it a stunning look and unique characteristics
